Hi All,
Atkins bars in the UK are about £1.50 each - a very expensive snack! Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives?
Thanks!
Susan

In the states, a lot of store brands have the same nutritional content. I shop at a store chain called Meijer, and they have their own store brand varieties that are pretty tasty, and quite a bit cheaper. Other than that, you could order directly from Atkins.com. That knocks the price down, purchasing in bulk. I have tried to just do away with them all together though- I seem to do better on my weight loss if I avoid the fake sweets. Now I only eat them when I'm ragingly pre-menstrual and in danger if killing someone for a chocolate fix.0

Nature Valley Protein Chewy bar Peanut, almond & Dark Chocolate calories 190, sodium 180mg, carb 14, fiber 5g, protein 10g. Helps with my cravings for something sweet & salty. Protein keeps me full.0

Have you tried Quest bars? They are pretty good. I don't know if you have them in the UK or if you could order them on the internet.

I've seen their bars in nutrition/sports/vitamin stores.0 -
Natural Valley bars? But they have so much sugar and corn syrup. I would try to avoid that. Don't want to get my carbs from those sources.0

I don't see nutrition data on their site. I buy mine from http://www/netrition.com
They have nutrition data easy to display for everything.0 -
QUEST BARS!!! they are amazing in many ways and
1. They are soley fiber and protein
2. They don't load them w sugar alcohols like Atkins products
3. They fill u up and don't cause cravings
4. They are delicious
5. They don't raise bs ( I've tested myself)
( I'm in love with these bars I have half of one every day)0
