Why I am exercising...

Yesterday, my doctor informed me that I am prediabetic and need to make some lifestyle changes. I once believed that I was invincible and that could not happen to me. Now that I was told of this, I have been exercising hard and decreasing caloric intake. No more junk food (except 100 calorie snack packs), no more fried foods, and diet fruit drinks/protein shakes/juices. I am determined to not be a diabetic, I have so much to do in my life and I cannot go through what I see my father go through.

I started clean eating two months ago and lost 10lbs so far. My nutritionist put me on a 1800 calorie diet that I can either follow my own diet or stick to her plans. I am excited!!
