After burn???

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this...and i'm trying to calculate how many calories I burn.

According to my Heart Rate Monitor I burned 400 calories during my workout. BUT I left my HRM on and in the hour after my workout I burned an additional 200!!!

I don't want to eat too much or too little, so my question is, do I count these "after burn" calories or not?

    Hey!

    The rule of thumb for me, is after working out, I leave my HRM on until my heart rate drops below 100. At that point I record my calories.

    yep I remember Michelle Bridges said do your work out, do your after work out stretching routine then turn monitor off :)

    Okay, thank you !!

    I ended up burning an extra 500 calories in the two hours after my workout... Too bad I can't eat those! :-)
