struggling with week 8

I have run day 1 of week 8 three times this week. I still can't do all 28 minutes without stopping. If I walk a few minutes, I can run and finish all 28. Im thinking I need to take a day off between weight lifting and my running days. I hate to get set back so far into the program, but week 9 is a full 3.1 miles, and I just can't make it. Im only able to do about 2 right now.
I should clarify that I am running on roads pushing a stroller, but on the treadmill at the gym I can run much longer.
Any suggestions?

I would just do week seven for a while longer...and the maybe increase just a little bit at a time until you are doing week eight. After all you have the rest of your life to get in shape. Don't kill yourself trying to faster than your body is ready for. :-)0

I agree with Hannah, continuing with Week 7 until it feels less challenging is a great idea.
You should also realize there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you are doing now - Walking for a few minutes in between - So you could also stick with what you're doing in week 8, until you are able to go all 28 minutes without stopping.
I'd suggest not walking for more than a minute or so at a time, otherwise your heart rate will decrease significantly and it might be harder to start back up... So maybe you could do 28 minutes of running with a couple of 1-minute breaks in between0
