Metabolic reset? Deciding on calorie goal

Hello! I'm new to the group so I'll apologize in advance if this info is posted somewhere. I am trying to determine if I should do a metabolic reset. How do I determine that and how is it done? I'm about five lbs away from my goal, but really would be just fine with staying the same weight and continuing to replace fat with muscle. I lost 19 lbs since the first of the year and averaged about 1600 calories a day (although I went over that many days). I've been at the same weight now for about a month and a half but have continued to drop inches and have dropped another size. If this info is already posted somewhere, please point me in the right direction!
