Advice to keep you on track!

Ok, this is going to sound weird but humor me. I had my fiance get the 30 day shred for me, I took my measurements and off I was. I joined some forums about it. I was a bit confused in the forums because people were talking about the pushups and using weights but of the 3 videos I had there were no weights or pushups. There was also a whole set of workout videos that I thought were just moves from the 3 videos so I didn't bother with them. Then I went on youtube and saw the actual level 1 for the 30 days shred and finally it hit me, my fiance had gotten me something entirely different. Something entirely more. I had, in my greedy little paws, the 90 day body revolution.

Point of this story? I'm getting there. So since I thought I was doing the shred I was only doing the cardio videos because there are only 3 levels in the shred. Well after my discovery I realized those are just the cardio videos. This is all beside the point though. The point is, after 7 days of doing the cardio videos and some "Buns of Envy" youtube videos, I had dropped 2 pounds and a total of 12 inches overall. TWELVE INCHES!

So the point of this silly post is, DO YOUR MEASUREMENTS! Do not rely on the scale for the truth. As of yesterdays turning point, I am now on (technically) Day 2 of the body revolution and I cannot wait to measure myself again in another week.
I also have progress pictures, I can't even begin to tell you what those looked like just after 6 days of just the cardio.

Good luck everyone and happy exercising!

Wow 12 inches that's so exciting! I found the before pictures traumatic, but I know I will be so glad I took them. I also measured everything, even my neck!

    Thanks for the motivating tip!

Of course! I would have really regretted not taking those horrifying pictures, it was worth the feeling naked part.
