It was around 90 minutes. 4 miles. I was powering up the hill to keep my heart rate above 140

Stunning! Beautiful photography, and great workout. I'm suddenly jonesing for a hike.

I do them once a week. I increase the intensity every week. First week it took me a lot of stops to get to the top (not this hill, but the first climb). Second week...3 stops. Now I can do the first climb with no stops, I just power my *kitten* up the hill, fat and all.

I did have a few stops for water on the second hill climb...its SUPER steep. I was hitting 160 heart rate.

But My calf muscles were looking good...people though it was funny, I was flexing them at the end of the hike checking them out hahaha

Its expensive but worth it. Where I live, I have access to a beach (45 minutes West). I have access to hiking areas (tons within 30 minutes), I have access to the Redwoods (about 45 minutes). I have access to San Francisco (40 minutes). I have access to snow (2 1/2 hours), I have access to a lake (15 minutes, 45minutes and tons more).

Its nice :) Its not called lala land for nothing.

So cool. I was born way up North, but grew up in Concord. I loved it,

I love it out here in NY though.

Ive had it for a week or so and I find it better than my fitbit. Its mor accurate...it accurately can tell the length of my exercises and what not...totally worth it.

Personally I feel raining IS the best hiking weather :)

Nothing like cruising through Yosemite when its raining. Makes you feel alive.
