From my "wall":

5K update: First, thank you you all for taking the time to check in with me! Although it was 60 degrees pouring rain, and windy, the race was held. I had a great time and still cannot believe I ran 3 miles. Considering this was the 2nd time I ran outside, I found it highly enjoyable. I finished in 41.02. I am happy with that time because there were many places along the course that were backed up!! The bridge we had to run over could only accommodate runners two-abreast. Also the roads were open to traffic so there were many times I couldn't pass a runner because there was no room. My shoes were soaked! But I finished and am very proud! I can't believe that 10 weeks ago, I struggled to run 30 seconds. Woot!

That's AWESOME! Congrats!! That's a great time especially due to wind and rain... This was a bridge run? That's even windier!!

Running outside is a completely different experience... Once I started running outdoors the treadmill looked so unappealing haha

You did an amazing job and you should be really proud of how far you've come :)

Thank you! The only other time I ran outside was on a high school track. Boring!! But now, I can see myself running outside often. Now if it would stop raining!

Track running is SO BORING... I tried it yesterday and just couldn't finish. Hope the weather clears up soon :D

Great Job! Very proud of you! My race is in about 3 weeks and I'm now having some knee issues and this stupid humidity is killing me. Could hardly run at all yesterday. So out of breath and heart rate really high. I've determined my body is happiest when its about 50 degrees outside. Not looking good for race day. Lol.
