Back on track!

Back on the low-carb train. It's been one month off (cruise followed by 2 weeks of illness) and I only gained about 4-5 pounds, so I'm satisfied with that. I *really* am looking forward to the benefits of low carb: less hungry, better energy and loss of weight! I'm NOT looking forward to the de-carbing headache that is sure to be coming my way sometime tomorrow...

    I know the detoxing sucks but once its done you know the drill! Someone told me you can "lessen" the effects by drinking broth every 2-4 hours. I was "sick" for 4-5 days but my husband was fine in 2.

    Hopefully since your body was use to the low carb way it will skip the flu and do what it does best :)
