Lab Results...what do these mean

I googled it, but I would rather hear from others' experiences instead. I got my labs from my last blood test and would love to know what these numbers mean. I don't really trust the lab's range because I know they are really broad. So it looks like T4 and T3 are pretty normal, but Free T3 is 2.2 and Free T4 is .96. Can you tell me if these are low? Should free t3 be higher than free t4? My TSH is high, but not horrible.
Thanks!

That depends on the "ranges" that your lab used. Some labs use different ranges from x.x - x.x.... general rule of thumb, T3 should be towards the top of the normal range and T4 should be towards the bottom of the normal range. TSH is almost irrelevant... but a TSH of .89 usually is good -- assuming that T3 is at the top of the range.

My Free T3 is low right now -- we're upping my dose -- it is 1.9 and the range on my lab test for normal is 2.2 - 4.4 - so my ND wants my T3 up to 4.0 or above, but not over 4.4. T3 is the active hormone -- as long as you have plenty of that, TSH and T4 are irrelevant.

He should check your Thyroid antibodies too for hashimoto.

So my free T3 of 2.2 is on the very low end of normal according to the labs. What does this mean? How does it impact my metabolism? And the rest of my body? I know that is probably a really long answer, but just a brief summary if anyone has time!
