Week 6 day 3 - cannot get past it!

Hi everyone! I started out really well with C25k - made it through the first 4 weeks no problem. Then I was away for a week after one day of week 5 so restarted week 5 when I returned. Was really happy to manage my 20min run :) Then I got through week 6 days 1 and 2 but I cannot seem to get the 25min run. I'm using the NHS podcast which has 25min as week 6 day 3, whereas I've noticed the Cool Runnings site has it down as 22mins (which makes more sense to me!). Have tried the 25mins 3 times and each time I can't seem to get my breathing right, plus I find it hard to drink as I run (despite having one of those doughnut shaped bottles). I'm thinking of trying a 20min run on Fri and a 22min on Sun and then moving on to 25min for week 7 if I manage those.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you do?
Thanks!

    Ok, so I'm not trying to be a smart *kitten*, but your breathing is ok for 20 minutes but then you have trouble breathing? I guess I don't understand what you mean by not being able to get your breathing right.

    You can run 20 minutes straight without having to stop? What is your pace? How do you feel at the 20 minute mark?

    Edit: you're -> your

    It's weird cos the 20min was okay but it's like now I can't do it any more - when I try the 25 I only get to about 13 before needing a break. So I think I need to go back to try the 20 again and work my way up. Don't know why my breathing is being weird now - like I feel I can't get my breath properly.

    Ahh.. well, yes, it doesn't make much sense to try and run for 25 minutes if you cannot first run for 20 minutes :flowerforyou:

    My recommendation: make sure you're running at a set cadence (like 180 steps per minute) by using a metronome or music that is selected because of it's beats per minute. Then just breathe 2 steps in, 2 steps out, repeat. Good luck!
