I'm starting my zig zag schedule today (thursday) so my high day falls on a Saturday
This is what it tells me for my calories each day, I hope this works! The low is more than I've been eating regularly so this is going to be scary for me!

Wow your numbers are pretty high. Mine are in the 1312 (lowest day) and 1800 (highest day) but most are at 1555. You must be younger than me - lol.

Maybe younger probably weigh more than you. I also work out a lot so that adds to the cals too! I'm 36 5'7 and toay I weighed in at 241.4lbs.

Yep - I have noticed that the age over 45 makes a difference!

  • Hi, I just joined this website and this group yesterday. I am hypothyroid and have hoshomitoes disease so am thinking this plan might be better for me. I went to the website suggested for figuring out zig-zag calorie count and the caloric intake is so much more than the calculations given at this website. /s there a reason for the difference or am I doing something wrong. I am 5' 9", weigh 205 lbs. exercise 3 times a week with a sedentary lifestyle. Want to lose 2 lbs a week. This website said I should eat 1200 calories a day. The zig-zag said 1640 to 1968 a day. I just want to do what works so want to get this right. I would typically think the 1200 cal. is right but after reading info about zig-zagging I'm not sure. Thanks for any help.
