Work Out Eight-Whoops

I generally do my workout with ten pounders, even when Jillian says to use the lighter ones. However, when I did workout eight today, I made the mistake of not listening when she specifically said use the three pound weights. Circuit three nearly killed me! The delta raises in crescent pose was okay but I couldn't even begin to go into the warrior three pose. I moved down to the eights, but even then it was hard and I had to move to the fives. It was a real kick in the butt that I still have a way to go.

I did something similar when I did this workout earlier this week. I previewed the DVD so I would know what to expect and I also scoffed at her telling us to use 3 lb weights! I was So. Wrong. I even apologized for doubting her outloud when my shoulders felt like they were on fire!

Yes, I can easily do the side raises in crescent pose with 5 lbs, but I can't even hold 2 5-lb weights for warrior. I have to hold a single 5 lb weight between both hands.
