So, for the past year I have stuck at the same weight- 158-162. I was tracking on spark and knew nothing of net cals, so I know I was betting below my bmr for a bit. I was definitely inconsistent.. Tried high calorie, low calorie, nothing at all for a while- nothing worked.

Since jan 1st I have consistently been tracking and working out steadily. I switched to MFP in march, and found this group soon after so I've been eating around 2000calories since then (more if my workouts called for it). I got a bodymedia fit almost a month ago, and my average deficits have been between 300-500 calories. I have been going by my daily tdee (it gives a pretty calculate estimate for the rest of the day, so I always check it after dinner to see if I need to add more calories).

I cut back my cardio, so I run 3x/week, only one of those is a long run (still 60mins or less at this point). I do Chalean Xtreme 3x/week as well and an ab workout 2-3x (6week 6pack).

My daily tdee ranges from about 2000 on a rest day to 2800 on a long run day.
I try to stay consistent with my macros, though admittedly weekends are not the best (I do stay in my calorie range and track everything).

I'm 5'6.5", 26yrs and I can not get below 158lbs to save my life! I have at least 20lbs to lose so it's not a matter of just changing my body composition. My measurements have been extremely consistent as well. My waist is always between 29-30.5 in. Everything else stays the sane as well.

I know I'm probably going to get told to eat more- but when starting with this group I was eating 2100-2200/day until I saw my rest day tdee was barely 2000..

Help? I just don't understand at all how in 6months I have no changes :( (let alone the past year)

When was the last time you took a rest week from exercise and a diet break?

I was actually sick about 2 weeks ago so I took a week off then. Before that, right after st Patrick's day because I ran a half.
