Hey! I just wanted to know if anybody had a pretty simple low carb based shopping list, ideas? Basically, for the atkins diet. You know. Thanks. :D Much appreciated. I'm shooting around 20g a day-ish.

atkins website is a good sorce. I am doing phase 1 of south beach this week. Even though I have been low carb for over a month I thought it was time to go tor it. Think no starch. and recipe books for phase one south beach would work for yo too. good luck.

    I'll give it a shot:

    - Salad ingredients: romaine, spinach, celery, cucumber, tomato
    - Eggplant, asparagus, zucchini, peppers, onions
    - Avocado
    - Deli turkey and/or ham (make sure no sugar or honey)
    - Ranch dressing (check for added sugar)
    - Pickles
    - Olives
    - Sugar-free Heinz ketchup
    - Any meats you want to cook
    - Bacon
    - Packaged tuna
    - Shredded cheese
    - Block cheese
    - Cream cheese
    - Parmesan cheese shaker
    - Eggs
    - Heavy cream
    - Sour cream
    - Cottage cheese
    - Frozen broccoli, cauliflower, spinach
    - Splenda (packets and bulk)

That should get you through the first 2 weeks and beyond. After that you can add:

    - Nuts
    - Greek yogurt (plain!!!)
    - Berries
    - Nut butter - make sure it's just nuts and salt (or no salt if you prefer)

Edited to add: I forgot to add packet Splenda and bulk Splenda. Gotta have your sweet fix!

    Edited again: Tuna!

When I am organized I go on Atkins website, plan my menu for the week then make up my shopping list. I love the variety of meals they have so it is hard to say what I might need each week.
