Let me say first that I have NEVER LIFTED WEIGHTS IN MY LIFE BEFORE THIS.
I am following the calorie guidelines in the book, and eating about 2300 calories a day. I hid the scale and vowed not to be prisoner to it until after one month. My starting weight was 146.
I am a couple days shy of a month and have been pretty sedentary the last couple weeks due to overtraining and weather. I figured that only lifting weights twice this last week and running once would have the weight piling on.
NOPE. I weighed this morning, and am down to 145. I measured and have lost 1/2 inch off my waist, 1/4 inch off my arms, 1.25inch off thighs, and 1/4 inch off hips! Im so HAPPY! I have fallen in love with weight lifting AND my body.
For anyone that is on the fence about eating more and lifting weights, I urge you to try it. You will never regret it!

Question.....
when you measure the loss on your arms or legs, do you add it together, or just use the number from one? I lost 2.5 inches total, if you count both thighs. I've never known how youreally measure it....0 -
