So I'm living in Melbourne right now but spent most of my school holidays and long weekends at the mount. Went back to NZ recently to see my folks who live in Welcome Bay. As a child visiting, I (begrudingly) walked around the mount, but never up. This time I was determined I was going to - and I did. Even though it was hard (most of my training is weights, I hate cardio), I loved it and felt SO GOOD when we got to the top. My cousin that walks up every morning was behind me (that morning was her second go that morning) so I couldn't stop and take a rest even if I wanted too.
For those of you that are contemplating it - DO IT!!!!!!!
