Ok so I have been stuck with the same pound that I keep losing/gaining for the past month or so and it is getting on my nerves. I had been eating 1550 cals a day plus eating back exercise (bmr of 1582) and I am taking the leap and bumping my calories up today to 1700. I have been reading a lot on the eat more to weigh less group and so I figure that I might as well try and bumping up to see what happens...

Has anyone else bumped up their calories to break a plateau or what have you done to break it???

Give it a whirl for at least 4 weeks.

I'm right about the 4 week mark, My weight hasn't changed much but my measurements have a bit.

I've edged up twice now and lost both times. As of this morning I'm down another two pounds and that's after actually eating almost all of my 1800+ calories for several days and only getting in my minimum weekly exercise for the moderate activity level. But, I try to stick VERY close to my macros every single day too. I'm convinced that's the "trick".

I've recently upped mine to as i was starting to feel a little weak during the day. Now aiming for 1800 a day and keeping a close eye on my protein. So far so good and i had a small loss which after a weekend away was unexpected.
