Encouragement re: Initial Weight Gain

I've been doing Power 90 for two weeks now. And tracking every bite on MFP. I know I'm burning calories and I know I'm eating way less and way healthier. I'm eating almost entirely clean. No diet sodas, nothing refined at all. I lost 4 pounds upfront (typical for the initial shock, probably water weight), then this week, despite all my hard work, I gained 2/10ths of a pound. Not even substantial, but a gain nonetheless.
I know from plenty of forum trolling that you have to build muscle to burn fat, that you lose inches before you see it on the scale, it still doesn't help you feel better when your heart is expecting some results. And you know your heart has to be in it with both feet if you want to keep that momentum going to reach your goals.
So this morning, while I was trolling around for encouragement on the beachbody forums, I found this little nugget of super encouragement. It made me feel waaaaay better, and hopefully it will help someone else, too!

edit - there's probably a way to hyperlink that, but in the meantime, just copy & paste. I promise it's worth it.

Thanks for sharing. It is so discouraging when we put in the time and effort and see the scale go up...then comfort ourselves with the bad foods....not any more!0
