Hey guys I was wondering when doing the step ups do you land back down on your trailing leg and bring your working leg back to the floor and then step up again, which is what I have seen on youtube videos or do you step up so your training leg is level with the bench and then lower back to near the floor?

thanks

I leave my working leg on the bench and just bring the trailing leg to the floor.

I did it the way you described during Stage 1, bringing both legs back to the floor on each rep, but in Stage 2, realized I'm supposed to leave the "working leg" on the step throughout all the reps, which I actually like better, even though it's harder.

Thanks for asking this questions, I didn't even know we were suppose to leave the working leg up during stage 2 step- ups, doing 3A tomorrow so I will make a note of this. I read the book on the kindle, and I think I missed somethings, its harder to flip back and forth through the pages with the kindle. Thanks for the info :)
