Anyone dealing with HYPER?

Soo, since my issues are long and date back till when I was 12/13 (I'm 23), here's a short tale. I manifested hypothyroid symptoms (weight gain, no energy, poor circulation/coldness in hot Florida heat) for about a year until, the summer before eighth grade, we noticed big nodules on my throat. Skimming over the story: after various biopsies, tests, etc., my entire thyroid was removed due to it possible being/developing cancer. Everything was benign.

I then fought hypo issues, with a doctor who severely underdiagnosed me, resulting in severe adrenal insufficiency, while I was 14/15 (we had moved across the country post-surgery, so now in Michigan).

Eventually, things were regulated, and everything was great... until last summer, when I ended up in the ER with a TSH of 0.00 (something that would have put me into a coma if I had still had a thyroid!). I can't technically be "hyperthyroid" since I don't have a thyroid, but I've been being treated essentially like I have it.

I've had my doses gradually increased over time (Currently 100mg Levothyroxine), and had frequent bloodwork. My TSH is currently 1.13.

My question is: is anyone having weight loss issues coupled with this? Hyperthyroidism is notorious for "unexplained weight loss," but I actually never had issues with weight until NOW. I had every crazy hyper symptom except the weight loss--I've actually GAINED weight, despite being active and eating well.

Sorry for the book, but... any thoughts? Comments? I'm not too trusting of my doctor (who had been running me so high because I'm "young and can tolerate it," but now I'm dealing with adrenal issues AGAIN, and yet more thyroid recoup...), so I openly embrace any advice.

I was hypo on meds for 40 years and then slightly hyper for 6 years. During BOTH times I gained weight. When I was hyper I was hungry all of the time and over ate. Now that I have had 1/2 of my thyroid out and am on synthroid and cytomel I am able to loose weight. I am unable to exercise a lot as I have other health problems. I hate to say this, but it seems as if you were not treated correctly with a not needed surgery. Make sure your doctors now are responsive and if they are not helpful then find a different doctor. Never hesitate to get a second opinion from a specialist. I changed doctors just last year as I didn't like my endocrinologist, I like my new one better. I also changed primary doctors a number of times. They are not all the same, some are better then others.
