week break between stage 1 & 2

when/if you took your week break between stage 1 & 2, did you not do any exercise or just refrained from strength training?
I'm on my week off and im planning on going hiking tomorrow & doing hot yoga this weekend, and ran the stairs last night... I can't remember what the book said (if anything) about the week off

    I did some cardio, but nothing too strenuous.

    I think it's just strength training. Or at least that's how I'm approaching it

    The book only says "a week away from lifting". Like you, I was planning on still doing cardio in my weeks off. So I think you're safe.

    I just stayed away from lifting but still did some moderate cardio most days. I saw the scale drop 3 lb. that week too! :)
