I have completed through week 1 of Lean, but I've been diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff :( I've been in pain for a few weeks and figured I just pulled something, but any time I lift overheard or try to do push ups my left shoulder kills. I finally went to see the doctor about it yesterday. He told me I shouldn't lift upper body weights for a few weeks and he's going to try to treat me and see if it resolves or if I'm going to need a different treatment method. I loved this program and really wanted to finish it :( I'm hoping that after I'm healed I can either pick up where I left off or I'll start it over again because I was really gaining strength and seeing good results.

That sucks! I have a bum knee and I have been doing the entire program, just finishd Burn Circut today. But doc. said last week that my knee will never get better if I keep doing squats and jumping around on the Cardio days. So I stopped doing the squats and the cardio days an added stationary biking for the cardio days. Knee is feeling much better and I am still getting the upper body. Maybe you too can modify somehow? good luck.

Maybe you can still do the lower body parts or do it without weights at all?

Sorry to hear that you have to pause :(

I'm sorry that happened to you. I tweaked my rotator cuff a couple of months ago. Ouch! It really incapacitates you. I hope you heal quickly.

If it's only a few weeks, you should be able to pick up where you left off. You'll have to re-build some strength but now that you have it, it should come back quickly. Your muscles already know the drill of lifting and will adapt quicker the next time.
