I found this recipe for homemade fruit roll-ups. I would make the ones that don't call for dried fruit so avoid added sugar.

These may not be good for everyday snacking because of the sugar content of fruit, but I want to use it as an energy boost for intense workouts. A lot of the athletic nutrition (gu's, blcks, bars, etc.) are all processed.

Whole Foods has some dried fruits without any added sugar. They're the only place that sells plain dried cranberries.0
