Taekwondo is not mentioned under cardiovascular exercise but martial arts is. It tells me that a 90 minute session burns 844 calories. We do approx;
*20 minutes running/pressup/situps/burpees/squat thrusts,
*5 mins stretching
*20 mins patterns,
*30 mins pad work practicing kicks,
*15 mins sparring.

Do you think that 844 calories is right?

    Depends on the intensity, your muscle mass and the rest time between intervals, but that sound fairly accurate.

    I just found TKD on the list yesterday, I was checking how much it burned because I'm joining my kids' class after their belt test on Wednesday. I think it was 728.. I might be a bit off but it was 700-something
