So, is it better do less reps with heavier weights, or weights you can do and all the reps? At the end of my sets I do struggle, but should I be adding more weight? When do you add more weights usually? Ive been going up every week, but dont know if that is ok. Any thoughs ladies?

I kept increasing in Stage 1 if I could complete the whole set of 10. I may have struggled a bit with the last rep, but generally I went up then. In Stage 2, I've found that I haven't increased much at all. I struggle with the last 2 reps on almost everything so I haven't made the leap to increase as fast this time around.

If,let's say, you have to do 3 sets or 8 reps and you can do one more rep on each set, then you need to increase your weights next time. Do keep good form with the heavier weights. If you increase and your form is bad, than the weight is too much. If you are in stage 1 and still learning proper form ,, don't rush to increase-get the form right. If you are trying to decide what weight is right for you, start low and keep increasing weight, when you break form than you had enough on the bar. Form comes before pounds. If you go too much high on the weight and can't finish a set, than back down.
