Visit was very positive. My triglycerides went from over 1700 to 221. The nurse was amazed. They told me different ways to use the insulin so I actually have more control that I realized. It was quite liberatinig.

Told them I was doing the C25K program and they were very encouraging. Told me they would be asking about it at my next visit so now I have some accountability.

The only bad thing was that I told her that I was not losing weight as fast as I thought I should. She said that she could tell from my numbers that I am building muscle so I'm doing great. She wants me to not focus on my weight for a while, just concentrate on my BG levels. Hard to do, but I have to for now.

Things are looking up!

That's really great news! I agree you don't need to focus on your weight too much. If you are eating right, exercising and controlling your BG the weight will come off. I'm sure you're already feeling better, which is such a reward in itself.

Thanks guys! I am already feeling better. I started feeling better the day she took me off the victoza. But this exercise thing is becoming a habit! Who would have ever thought I would say that!!!

That's really good news. You're right about exercise in whatever form becoming a bit addictive. Well done on your success.

What a great visit. What a good dr. to not focus on the lbs but on your general health. Some drs. seem to think the scale is the most important thing rather than muscle development.

Focus on the good way you feel after a workout, that's what helps you keep your habit.
