Crab modification?

Does anyone know how to do a modified crab? I don't know if it's my short arms or my big butt, but that move just doesn't work! If I bend my arms, my butt is on the floor. So I'm just wondering if there is a modification. For now I've been leaving my butt on the floor and doing kind of a reverse push up with my arms and it definitely tires my triceps out! I just don't want to miss out on a modification that I'm not aware of. Thanks in advance!

Yes: get your arms up on a chair or a coffee table and do a basic triceps dip, that will give your bum some space.0 -
You could try trying to keep your back flatter, instead of bent. I have to do that a little bit when I do them.0
