What kind of equipment do you use for CE? I've been using weights (5 through 15), but I'm going to be traveling soon and staying overseas for a while, so I'm planning to take the DVDs with me and maybe the toning/resistance bands (like in the videos), because there is no way I'm going to take the weights with me or buy the new ones, they are expensive!
So I have 2 resistance bands, a light one and a really heavy one, but I can't get a hang of them, it just seems awkward to use them. Anybody is using the bands? How do you figure out which ones to use? How are they different? There are no numbers on the bands, so I'm wondering how to use them properly or if I should get something different at a sports store.

I only used bands for burn. I agree they were hard to use. I felt like they were too short.
Hope someone can help0 -
There are sets of bands with different resistance. The ones I saw were color coded so you could easily tell which was which.0

I'm going to a sports store today to see what they have. Maybe I'll ask the guys that work there.0

I just got the Bodylastics bands - they have several kits available depending on how much resistance you want. I think mine will go to 50+ "pounds" The info DVD shows you how to use them and their website has a lot of info as well.
They are awkward at first, but I watch how the person in the CLX video does it which helps a lot. As long as I keep track of which bands I use I can see if I need to increase resistance as I go along.0
