A few weeks ago I read up about all of this, asked a few questions and got started.
Well, that probably lasted for 4 days or so. I knew bloat would be part of it, I knew gain could happen, but I think I still wasn't fully mentally prepared. This and my intestines are still pretty messed up, so eating one thing that my insides don't take very well results in a huge rounded belly for hours or days which made it feel that much worse :c

But, I am sick of being stuck in a low calorie diet. I am sick of training my *kitten* off and not seeing results and feel like "I'm not allowed to eat" even when I'm hungry. I had a pretty bad binge a few days ago, which didn't do my body's well being much good. Those aren't simple cravings, I think it's me being underfed.
Believing I can consume the amounts scooby gives me because I'm so short (5"2 and 108-110lbs) still seem alien to me, and I'm surrounded by people who consume such low amounts, especially on tumblr.

I would love to get to know and be friends with some more people here on mfp with a positive attitude or who are going through the same thing, it would definitely help me a great deal to really start committing to this and make my body happy : D

Anybody willing to watch and help me change? I'd love some inspirational buddies! :)

You can add me, I love having friends from this group! I'm here even on work days (I work F/S/S 12 hr shifts).
My diary's open, and I'm doing the reset (on week 5 now) at 2350 kcals.
My exercise right now is mainly walking and push ups, but will be starting New Rules the first week of July.

    wow, that's some dedication!
I'm really going to ease myself into it eating at 1300 now, then slowly go up another 100 every 2 weeks until I'm 15/1600 (which should be around my TDEE 20% cut) and hopefully stay there for a week or 4-6, and if I'm not seeing change, I'm probably gonna have to do a reset whether I want to or not.

I just started reading TNROLFW, I want to start it asap with all the positive feedback it's getting :)

Hopping over to your page to add you now!

    Thank you :)
I think for 80% of the people on low cal diets, at some point, you WILL have to get sick of the continuous deprivation, failures you have to go through, and that circle of negativity it keeps you in.
I just want a healthier body (I'm pretty sure my terrible eating habits the past 11 years have something to do with all that's going on now) and be able to love food again and not feel guilty about eating something I need. It's going to take time, but I will and want to get there!

Starting NROLFW will change your life...to awesomeness!!!
But...you need to fuel your body well for that so its good that you are working yourself up to 1600 but you will need to up more for NROLFW. Just prepare yourself for that and I need to tell you as well that you will soon be starving for more food then as your body will crave it and need it with the lifting. Its an amazing experience... hope you fall in love like lots of us did! :drinker:

I am new here as well and going through similar stuff. Mentally it is so hard to believe that you can actually eat more. I have just recently started eating TDEE-15% and am dealing with some mental anguish about it. Please feel free to add me, I could use the support too! :)

Wow, even more? Does this go for everyone? Lots of people here are much taller than me and I know it sounds like an excuse, but a pound on me is more obvious than an extra one on someone who is 5'6!
I recently started liking lifting and I am following Jamie Eason's livefit program right now, which I feel is a good introduction to lifting for me and helping me to get used to it and do it at my own pace. :)
I'm not lifting super heavy yet but do notice I am s t a r v i n g the day after the workout, so that's going to be interesting

Sounds like some supportive shout outs will help both us :) The change the way of thinking after believing in something religiously and seeing results from that for some time is really hard, and probably a bigger challenge than any exercise I will do. Going to send you a request!
