Welcome back, Thirtysomething just wasn't the same without ya!

Another dramatic day at work dealing with the aftermath of an employee who dropped a lawn mower complete with spinning blade onto his foot. Sometimes i credit these people with far more intelligence then they may available! Once that got close to being sorted the heavens opened and i got soaked to the skin. Home now with the heating on and starting to warm up nicely.
Still feeling pretty good about increasing my calorie intake. My energy levels are up and I'm not feeling the need to snack constantly. it feels nice to be able to sit on my couch and watch a movie and concentrate on it. well as much as you can when tapping away on the laptop. Gym later for day two of my weekly strength training. That means it's chest and triceps tonight. Keen to get another long walk in at my local lakes. Lakes that have made the news recently when tourists came across a dirty great boa constrictor! Will have to watch my step in future.
Hope everyones having a good day

    Glad to see you back!

It's incredibly hot here, 107 heat index. I stuck to the treadmill today.

Water weight from last week is gone, let's see if I can pull off an actual drop by tomorrow. Likely not!
  • Welcome back!

I have been here lately but really just trolling not posting much...my motivation has declined and some grouchiness and illness has set it  I am hoping to get my butt back into gear by next week!

    Hello all!

It's hard to stay on track when I am soooo bored! Haven't had many customers lately, which happens here in the summer. So, I sit here and think, what can I do now?!?! And a lot of times, I end up eating when I am bored, which is NO GOOD! I just had a snack, so hopefully I'll be cool till dinner. Thankfully, my head feels better today, so I can either ride my bike or do elliptical after work tonight! YAY!! I know I have been slacking on my posts to threads lately, sorry guys! I have been busy early in the day, then lazy, then work out, then lazy again! Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I am, since this is the last day of my work week and pay day! woo hoo! Ready for my 3 day weekend! :drinker: Take care all!

A lawnmower on the foot! Holy terrible mental pictures!

Well I've been pretty off my game this week, but I'm starting to feel a bit better. I've been dealing with the stress of finding out that one of my newly adopted cats is actually blind and diabetic. I have to give the poor little guy insulin shots twice a day, which I just learned how to do tonight. I can deal with that and I'm glad he's going to start feeling better, but the vet bills for these little guys is looking to hit about $1000 before I even own them for 3 full weeks! Given that one has turned out to be so sick I really feel like I should get the other guy fully checked out as well even though he seems okay. I figure better safe than sorry.

On top of that I'm moving in just two short weeks and the place isn't even habitable yet! I am pretty much your standard type A control freak and I am getting really stressed out about not having dates set for getting the paint and carpet done and just generally worried that it won't be done on time.

On the good (but also stressful because that's just how I roll) front, I have a date tomorrow so I am going to go to Dillard's on my lunch tomorrow and treat myself to a new dress for the occasion. Here's hoping its a size 8!

Good luck on the move, I'm the same way and kick in to overdrive lol

    Hope your date was magical!!
