I finished "Finding Ultra" last week and LOVED it. I just got "Train Like a Mother" today can't wait to dive in.

I've got Scott Jurek's "Eat & Run" on my wish list next.

When I started running 7 years ago, I devoured John Bingham's "No Need for Speed: A Beginner's Guide to the Joys of Running." I highly recommend it for new runners, it's very encouraging and informative.

Any books you can recommend?

Laura

I love to read, but for some reason had never considered to read a book on running until now, thanks to you all. I may get the "No Need for Speed.." one. That sounds like it's at my level.

What a great article! I'll try to be like Mike and not be disappointed when I can't meet my self imposed goals for the day!
