Just finished week 1

I just finished week one tonight. I was wondering how many miles has everyone been making for the first week or 2? Mine was 1.8 miles for today, but I have seen some people with much higher mileage. I am just curious to see an average.

    I did W1D1 and W1D2, but missed D3, so I think I'm going to redo Week 1, maybe the week after next since I'll be traveling next week and won't have time/access to any areas to run. It was tough getting started, so I might have even been considering a do-over of Week 1 anyway.
    I completed about the same amount of distance as you. I'm hoping that each week I go a little farther and get a little faster.

    I'm on week 3. I'm consistently doing 4 km (10x around the track), which is about 2.5 miles, but this includes my 5 min warm up walk. I tried to make it so that I was exercising for 30 min in total - 5 min warm up plus 25 min of the program, slightly more than what is recommended. If I only walk/ran for the recommended 20 min, I'd probably be doing 2 miles in total.

    I just finished for the week too. I haven't gotten into the guts of jogging or running yet but it's coming! Thanks to all of you and my desire to run again.

  • Hi! I just finished week 1 this morning. I'm averaging about 2.5 miles per workout, including the 5 minute warm up and cool down. Congrats to everyone on doing so well! I'm proud of us. :) I'm excited for week 2!
