I hope im posting in the right place for this, basically MFP calculated me at 1270 cals per day, i calculated my MBR and it is at 1813. I only started last Monday and i have been managing on the 1200 bracket but having issues eating back my exercise calories... i have been lazy and inactive for a long time.. and basically i need to loose my excess weight, i quit smoking in October and piled on weight on top of weight i already needed to loose. I have been reading random posts and im a bit confused... i have been doing zumba and static bike exercise, i tried the kettle bells and i would like to continue them. If i go by MBR should i be doing strength training only? is 1813 not a bit high? Oh yeah and from what i can see i haven't lost a pound, i have read about water being held to repair muscle etc or is it my calorie intake that's the problem?
