last 3 days - have over eaten by 3500 calories - help!

I am so stressed right now, I recently quit working fulltime and have gone back to school. I still work parttime but my husband has been working extra to cover things. School is really hard, I have a presentation due next week and 3 papers. My husband is at work all the time and I am at home with all of my normal chores and our 2 kids etc. I am sorry I am totally venting, but I have been eating so much junk and it seems like it is the only thing that calms me down. I feel like there is so much pressure, with the sacrifice that we are making and deadlines, the kids need things etc. I feel like if I am dieting too I am depriving myself from and I almost have been sabotoging myself because of this. Thanks for listening....if anyone has any coping skill, they would be appreciated.

    I like to get outside and take a walk when I get too stressed. Maybe you can find a time where the hubby can watch the kids. Just getting out and moving and not having to stare at anything or study anything or feed anything can do wonders for the spirit as well as the body. You'll be surprised how relaxed you can feel after a really long walk. If you can, I highly recommend listening to womanly empowering music and really moving your body with the rhythm (Eurythmics is my go to).

    Also, I like to tackle one thing at a time. Like, wait until you can devote your entire attention to it and do your school work without stressing over the other stuff you are also juggling. I know, an almost impossible task.

    Good Luck! I am still in the process of getting my master's with a full time job. While I don't have kids yet, I totally feel your pain.
