I'm losing weight, but I've slowed down a bit. Could it be my daily sugar free jello??

Some people could react to the aspartame in the jello, cut it for a few days and see what happens.

I ate it tonight.... after I whipped a 1/4 of whipping cream and a tiny amount of stevia in the raw.... WOW! So good! Nice change, something new! So I hope it doesn't stall weight loss.... Guess time will tell!

That is exactly why Dr. Atkins did not want us using aspartame. He found that "excessive" amounts had the tendency to slow or stop weight loss in some individuals. In the 1992 edition of the book, he defined "excessive" as more than 2-3 servings of it daily.

Personally, I don't get anywhere near the stuff.

I drink a good 36-48 ounces of Diet Mountain Dew a day, and it hasn't stalled me (pretty sure that has aspartame in it). But if you think it might be the culprit, you could try cutting it out or make your own using another sweetener.

This is a recipe I have been meaning to try that is easily made low carb.

Looks like Diet Mt Dew is made with Aspartame and Splenda (Sucralose). I think that's why I don't like most diet drinks, I really don't like the aftertaste of Aspertame.

    From PepsiCo website

Diet Mountain Dew CARBONATED WATER, CONCENTRATED ORANGE JUICE, CITRIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVORS, CITRUS PECTIN, POTASSIUM BENZOATE (PRESERVES FRESHNESS), ASPARTAME, POTASSIUM CITRATE, CAFFEINE, SODIUM CITRATE, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM, SUCRALOSE, GUM ARABIC, SODIUM BENZOATE (PRESERVES FRESHNESS), CALCIUM DISODIUM EDTA (TO PROTECT FLAVOR), BROMINATED VEGETABLE OIL, YELLOW 5
