I'm four weeks into Low Carbing and feel AWESOME!!! Energy level is up, inches and weight is falling off and all around great mood. The only problem is I have had weird DREAMS.

The setting is I'm with friends and family and suddenly I realize I just ate over my carb limit and didn't even see the food I was putting in mouth. So in the dream I freak out and I'm running around trying to find out what was served at the meal........

Any one else have dreams with on LC? Do they go away? Maybe I'm too worried about getting knock out of Ketosis?

It isn't LC it's OCD :-) . Really, this type of dream is common and you don't have to be in ketosis to have it.
Everyone has had the dream were it is the day before finals and you suddenly realize that you have never been to class or never cracked the book. Or you have a big meeting with a client but realize that you forgot to do any work on their project.

The dream signifies that you are worried that you may have overlooked some aspect of your life. The subject in the dream does not have to be the same as the one you are worried about (you can be worried about work but have a dream about your high school geometry final).

You are new to LC, you are focused on it, it is important to you. Not too surprising that you have these types of dreams. The surprising thing is that the dream is actually about LC. Or perhaps the thing that your mind is really wrestling with isn't LC at all.

How funny! I had a dream that I was eatting a bagel. Not a slim one or little one. It was one that I needed two hands to eat! I woke up thinking "did I eat that?"

Haha I call them carbnightmares and that's so funny I got them all the time in the beginning and would wake up freaking out... Now I do still get them but not as much... They're funny though:)

I quit smoking awhile ago and I get the occasional dream about smoking. I wake up in a panic (because I know how easily they hook you in)!

When i first started, i dreamt that I was at a friends house and made an open-faced peanut butter sandwich on bread and just popped it in my mouth without thought, and then realized what I'd done and FREAKED out, and when I read the label it said the bread had 937 g of carbs per slice. I woke up in a total panic. The dreams aren't low-carb specifically, the dreams are anxiety about whether you can stick to it and stay in Ketosis. Eventually it becomes second nature.
