Thigh question

My thighs have always been my problem area. I finished stage 1 (starting stage 2 today.) My issue is that the normal size of pants that I wear (2) are SO tight in the thighs (all the way to my knee) I have to get a 4 to be comfortable. Is it really possible that I gained that much muscle during stage 1. I find it quite hard to beleive. I finished out with 80 pound deadlift, 70 pound squat, 40 pound step up (not sure how high the step.) I just find this hard to beleive and am a little down that this has occured. The scale is also up; I do not contribute that part to muscle gain at all.

It's unlikely you've gained that significant amount of muscle in 6 weeks. It is most likely water retention for muscle repair. Are you giving yourself enough rest into between workouts?

I always take at least 1 day off between workouts. I think it is the water retention as well. We've been eating out a lot lately. We have not eaten out in several days and the scale is already back down to where it should be. I feel better today about. I was just freaking out a bit yesterday.

stage 2 is lunge, squat, split-squat heavy, lots of leg work!!

    Might help!
