Love linseed and soya bread

Hello. I have recently been diagnosed with hypo ( 6 weeks now). I am still waiting for a scan of my goiter. The problem is I have just discovered linseed and soya bread and have 2 slices per day about 6 hours after my meds. Should I really avoid linseed and soya? Is it really going to affect the absorption of my meds even 6 hours after?

Not only your meds, but soy is a thyroid inhibitor. :-(

Is got 14% soya in it. That's not much.

I would say avoid all soy - especially if you have a goiter. Soy is not good for thyroid.

Yes, soy is complete and utter garbage for the human body and if you have ANY thyroid issues at all, whether that's hypo, hyper or a goiter, soy is going to make it much more difficult to fix the issues.

Soy really shouldn't be ingested by anyone in my opinion, but those with thyroid problems should be especially careful. Read the packages for EVERYTHING that you eat...soy is hidden EVERYWHERE these days.

It's in wholemeal bread too. Should I avoid this?
