Armour vs NP Thyroid

So I've done some reading on various forums, and have read that NP Thyroid is closer to the formula Armour used to use before it started using a cellulose filler. These posts basically said that the cellulose filler binds to the thyroid, and most people now need to chew it up with a little sugar or honey in order to get their meds to work.
Anyone notice a difference in their Armour meds in the past few years? I'm curious whether it would be better to just make the switch to NP Thyroid.
