Hi all....quickly approaching 40 and need to lose some weight BADLY! Having some gastro issues and on blood pressure meds. I was told by my doctor if I can get some of the weight off, they would consider taking me off some of my meds. It's been hard because I've never had to really exercise in my life and now these last couple years, I have been steadily gaining and it just seems impossible to get below 190. I'm hoping by counting my calories I can get some of this off me. I have a 2 year old I need to keep up with.
In Richmond VA! Could use some work out partners too if anyone's in my area!

Start small. Take one unhealthy thing out of your diet... Then add a little exercise... Walking is always the best way to go to get started. Put on your Ipod ... set it to a walk it out station on Pandora and get moving!!! There is a great phone app that tracks how far you walk..... Map My Run.... walk a little farther every week... The lbs will fall off!!! Oh and drink plenty of water.... I know my profile only says I've lost 16... hat the 16 I lost while on this site... I've actually lost much more!!! By taking small steps!!!0
