Bodybugg etc???

Hi! I'm new to the EMTWL group and I did my calculations through the scooby link that was provided, it gave me:
BMR 1450
TDEE 2248

I was wondering if I should use a body bugg to try and track my actual calorie expenditure or if it is even worth it?

I've been trying the lose the same 30+- pounds for years and I always fail as soon as I begin..I think because I always try and eat too few calories and then I just cant stick with it and then I blow the whole thing by eating crap and quitting my workouts..I have this stupid "All or Nothing" mentality!!!

Any advice is appreciated!

    I got a BodyMedia FIt recently and my actual calorie burn is higher than I thought. During the week it's around 2100 and on weekends even higher from doing lots of housework, chores etc. I'm not very consistent about working out but it would be even higher. I highly recommend it and plus it tracks your sleep. I have trouble sleeping sometimes too and it's amazing how this thing knows.
