Okay, WARNING: shameless, plea for attention.....
I recently had a relatively severe allergic reaction to Neomycin, which is an antibiotic in topical creams like Neosporin and the like. I had no idea I was allergic to the stuff.... I have used it plenty of times before, but we all know how allergies can suddenly manifest. I had to go get a steroid shot and was put on some other meds for a while. The meds have made me grouchy, sleepy, often confused, and RAVENOUS!!! So, needless to say, I have not made my primal lifestyle a priority. Of course, I believe that sticking with my diet would have helped how I feel tremendously, I just haven't done well with the side effects of the drugs I've been given. I've put back on a few pounds and I'm really feeling like crap about it. I was doing so well, too with my weight and how I was feeling.... now I just feel like crap.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my frustrations so I can get it out and get back to being me... which means getting back to being healthy. I still have a few more days of meds, so we'll see how it goes.

Hang in there, you must be feeling really frustrated. At least you now know what a big difference the right food makes to how you feel, a great motivation for getting back on track. Although, I have to say, I am sure you could have done without such a dramatic illustration.0

Life throws curveballs - and ones that are sometimes setbacks to where we want to be, in the time we want to have our goals knocked out.
Take a deep breath.
And keep moving forward, keep doing the right things that you have been so diligent about doing, and know that all those small decisions, day in and day out, will get you closer to where you want to be.
So many times in the past, I have had a setback, gotten frustrated, given up for a few weeks.... and then found myself right back to where I started weight-wise. Then I'd have to work SO FREAKING HARD to get back to the weight I was at before said frustration/setback, and I'd get frustrated with how long it was taking, and why isn't this fair, and bleep bloop blah.... And now, just stick with it. Grit your teeth, look forward, and stick with it!!!!0 -
Life isn't a straight line...it is a series of rest stops...so you pulled off the road for a pit stop - pretty sure you will be back on that road again...0

Migraines = Diet Coke + Excedrin (caffeine helps for some reason or other and coffee during a migraine makes me nauseated). So yeah, super fun past week for me too :P0
