Two weeks with a BMF - update!

Hey all, I've had my BMF for a little over two weeks now. I just generated a report for the last two weeks and found that my daily average burn is 2132 calories. This is a lot lower than I would have guessed, but I've been more inactive than usual the last few weeks: I got engaged (= celebrate, who needs to exercise!), my work schedule has been crazy, roller derby is on summer break and my shoulder is hurt so I can't do upper body lifting. Alas, life happens! But, I've been hovering between 153 and 156 pounds for two months now, and 27-28% BF. I'd love to see the 140s but I know now that that's not the best indicator, so instead I'm going for smaller clothes and 23% BF.
2132 - 15% cut is 1812 as my daily calorie goal - does that sound right? It seems low, but maybe I will reevaulate in a few weeks when I return to my "normal routine." Also, with a 1800 calorie goal it won't take much exercise to make me have to eat to get over my BMR, so it's likely I'd be eating more than 1800 calories a lot of days.
On another note, last night I FINALLY hit my 8 hour sleep goal, with 8:25 of time asleep. Woo hoo! I've been averaging 6-7 hours a night, with a few nights in the 5-hour range. The sleep tracking is a really cool part of the BMF! It's made me much more aware of how much sleep I'm actually getting, and I'm learning that just because I'm in bed for 8 hours doesn't mean I get 8 hours of sleep. But who has time to be in bed for 9 hours a night?
Anyway, sorry for the brain dump! I have a hard time being healthy in the summer - on one hand I'm very active, but I also tend to drink more and eat crappier food - but if I'm a-gonna get married in Puerto Rico next spring I damn well better reach my goal.

I got a fitbit 2 weeks ago and it has opened my eyes to what I actually burn too! It's definitely inspiring me to move more, especially on the weekends when I'm eating and drinking a lot more. And I now see why I'm always yawning, I wake up on average 6 times a night and only sleep about 6 hours.
Mostly, it's a great tool for me for comparing calories in versus calories out. I figure as long as I have a weekly deficit of some sort, I'm doing good! I love my fitbit!0 -
Hello!
I would say you are on the right track. Definitely wear the BMF during your more active weeks. Youll get a better sense of your daily burn during these times. Once you get that, youll have a more accurate average for your TDEE.
However with that said, using the current TDEE that the BMF is giving you, the 15% cut number sounds right. You will see though, that the calorie counts will go up during your exercises.
