Still losing

Two weeks into CLX and the scale has moved 2 weeks in a row! This never happens for me. This is even though I spent the last 4 days at a convention with my husband and did not have access to a kitchen. I brought my George Foreman grill, they charged extra for a microwave so I didn't have that either. I made due with wheat bread, healthy cold cuts, reduced fat hotdogs, peanuts, and peanut butter. Room service was so expensive and healthy choices where higher priced, of course. I brought my dvds and weights and continued my CLX program. I also, since starting CLX, lowered my calories to the amount suggested in the booklet. I'm thinking this: When I was eating more to weigh less, they kept telling us to eat on maintenance for several wks. to reset the metabolism, then reduce cal. by 15%, to lose weight. My maint. number would have been 2100 cals. per day, I never ate that much, I went right to the minus 15%, around 1800 cals. per day. I think maybe because of my age, 54, my maint. should have been around 1800 all along and now that I'm eating 1500 cals. per day, I've starting losing. Everyone says play around with the numbers til you find what works for you. I was praying that the CLX program would be the one that finally helped me get it right. So far I've not been disappointed.

    I was doing the Eat More thing too. I ended up gaining almost 5 lbs. I gave it a couple of months, but now I'm done with it. It doesn't work for me. I'm cutting back to 1600 calories and am sincerely hoping I start losing again.

    CLX is a great program. I just started my second round. I'm loving Burn again!

    I too tried the EMWS philosophy and truthfully it has some truth but in the end everyone is different and I had to rely on my intuition...when I started listening to my body the weight started melting away. They had discouraged cardio, but I love cardio AND strength training and the mix with TF and CLX is such a hand and glove fit. Chalean Johnson is really onto something... keep listening to your body because it is working for you! Great work...
