Example of Fat Shredder

Little guide line and tip for everyone. If you want to take fat off fast, this is one great way to do it.
*Increase the amount of protein you have per day to cause for more fat burning. The Fat Shredder phase of the book P90X Nutrition Plan shows 50% protein 30% Carbohydrates 20% fat

Here is an example (this example based on a woman who weighs 162 lbs)

Meal 1 8:00am - 4 Egg whites + 1 whole egg scrambled and 1 package Quaker Wild Berry Oatmeal
Meal 2 11:00am - 1 can of tuna mixed with fat free mayo + 1/2 cup of brown rice.
Meal 3 2:00pm – Shakeology shake-chocolate
Meal 4 5:00pm - 100 grams of chicken + 2 cups of broccoli (drizzled with olive oil)
Meal 5 8:00m - 1 cup 1-2% cottage cheese + 1 tbsp peanut butter

Calories 1448
Fat 34g
Carb 112g
Protein 169g

Protein is 169 x 4=676/1448=46.7%
Carbs are 112 x 4=448/1448=30.1%
Fats are 34 x 9=306/1448=21.1%

    You don't have to use Shakeology ( I would HIGHLY recommend you do) but I would ask you...do you know what it is?

    I don't use Shakeology either. I've read all about it but I just can't throw down over $100 on a 30 day supply when I don't even know how it tastes. I like your sample menu, though, Shawn. It seems very doable. I just need a kitchen scale to weigh my food.

    I know what shakeology is and I have no intentions of using it because I can not afford it. Therefore I have to just watch what I eat and count my calories.

    Ladies don't worry about that aspect too much if you eat clean and put the work in you should see results!!

    Don't use shakeology for the same reason as the others. rather eat than drink my protein. I try to eat clean, but I won't be following the P90X food guide most of the time. as long as I track my foods and I'm brutally honest with myself over it, I lose pounds, because I'm conscious of what I eat.

  • I just started this same menu today, I thought it would be hard but eating every 3 hrs worked just fine. There is a seven day plan to this menu.
  • I dont use shakeology either. All though it came with the P90X program but it was a cleansing thing couldn't do it and work. But I replaced the shake with 1 cup lean turkey and 1/2 cup brown rice. Here is the link
