Got 4 miles in today! (WATP Express 4 Mile Super Challenge) = 6 miles so far this week/14 miles so far this month

I love this one Scoobees - my husband calls it 80's Leslie - LOL - I don't know, must be the hairdo.

That was hilarious! I have a fewer older ones that fit that bill also!

3 miles today, I did Burn Body Fat & Sculpt Your Arms.
    July total = 17 miles

Gotta do something different tomorrow though; I could feel myself losing a little enthusiasm tonight.
    Great job everyone!!!
  • I'm glad I found this group!! I just started the Leslie Sansone Walk away the Pounds Ultimate Collection. It was $9 at Target this week. I've done 10 miles already this week, so hopefully I can log 40 miles this month. I do my walking after work. I wish I could do a few miles in the morning before work but my mattress holds me hostage.

    Good luck all!!!

Hey all, 3 miles done yesterday = 15 miles so far.

Thanks for all knee advice. It's a bit better. I realised it coincided with me running out of glucosamine supplements so I started them again yesterday. Haven't braved any jillian yet will stick to Leslie for now. Am going away to my parents for a week on Monday, am planning to introduce my mum & sister to Walking at Home too. There may be some new recruits next week :) x

Have a great weekend everyone!! :flowerforyou:

I started walking with Leslie in April of this year and MFP very recently. I would love to join in the challenge :flowerforyou: . As I recorded my miles today I noticed that it was my 100th walk with Leslie. Now that turned out to be a good day to find this group  .

I am 61 years old and my goal is to be fit and not become frail as I age. I have lost 8.8 pounds since I have started 'walking indoors' with the DVDs which includes the 2 pounds since joining MFP. I feel like I am getting stronger and my endurance is improving.

My # of challenge miles for the rest of the month will be 25 or more miles.

Today I did 4 miles (WATP Express 4 Mile Super Challenge).
    Thank you!

Good Morning! Welcome new walkers and great job this week everybody!

I don't usually work out on Sundays but had a much needed rest day on the couch yesterday. It was nice, watched movies and relaxed for a change!

Felt stiff this morning so did 2 miles classic walk with the weight belt. Headed to the lake now for some bonus burn on the paddle boat!

    GOAL - 40 Miles
    So Far - 15 Miles
Left to go - 25 Miles

Have a great day and a super week!

Gotta catch up! My 8 week old has not gone to sleep easily in the evening like he was before, and is therefore cutting in on my exercise time. Maybe I should just hold him while I do the video. :)

This afternoon I did the 5 mile Fat Burning Walk (WAH). I loved the 2 minutes boosted walk at the end of each mile. However, the last two miles were giving me a run for my money lol. Good work out for me today.

(new) Goal - 35 Miles for the rest of July.
    So far - 16 miles

Welcome hilly215, I just discovered this group also. samfordbelle, enjoy that sweet little one

Thanks texasgardnr! And way to go on this month's mileage! I'm also loving her boosted walks...I was a little bummed that it was just too hot last night to do a workout...even a small one...So I'll just have to step it up tonight after the rain comes through and cuts the temp (and humidity) in half...

I'm sad I'm finding this group so late in July, but I'm looking forward to next month!

I bought the WYBF dvd at least two years ago, and finally dusted it off this week. I did mile one yesterday and it was hard, but I made it. Then this morning, I did it again and it was easier and felt great. Tonight, I got bored, so I did it AGAIN and started into mile two. It's intense, but I am loving it!

    So hi everyone!

Welcome Michelle. Let me/ us know how the walk belt works out. I do not have that DVD or walk booster.
Don't be sad, reesa722. Just jump right in today and tailor your goal for the remainder of the month. I have only been here about a week. So I'm a newbie also.

Night night every one, only it will soon be good morning for you Michelle.

Good evening everyone. This afternoon I walked 3 miles using the WAP Fat Burning DVD: Power Mile (1 mile) and Walk Strong (2 miles). I chose these work outs because they included strength training. I need to start paying attention to strength training more often now. Earlier this week I also used Debbie Rocker's Walk, Sculpt and Tone DVD which uses weights.

princessf1, Good for you for doing the Just Walk 5 Miles + Stretch today. I borrowed that one from the library the other week and really liked it. Loved that stretch.

mish1969, I am glad that you were pleased with your new walk DVD using the walk belt.

Goal - 35 Miles for the rest of July.
    So far - 29 miles
