Activity level and Calorie intake

Hi everyone,
I'm new to EM2WL. I started last month, calculated by TDEE, BMR and cut all seems to be going well. Now i'm confused on what to do concerning my activity level and calorie intake. I'm currently doing the insanity program at first i chose moderate as my activity level but found out that during the first month I was doing the program on an average of 4 days which put me on light activity (1-3hrs/week). Now i'm about to start the second month and i'll probably end up doing the program on an average of 4 days again, but this time i'll be on moderate activity level (3-5hrs/week). After insanity i'm planning on doing 30 day shred. I'm wondering how this inconsistency in my calorie intake will affect me? Should i just stick with the light activity calorie intake or change my calorie intake whenever my activity level changes even if its a 2 week interval. I hope my question isn't confusing. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!!!

    I would say set your activity level at moderate and eat at that level all the time. That is advice I have seen given many times here. Overestimate your activity level when it comes to figuring out your calories rather than underestimate. The reason is you do not want your body to think you are starving it ever. When you start the Shred program you will be doing it daily??? so again your level of activity will increase so you will have to recalculate your numbers.

    Any time you increase your activity level or you lose 5lbs you have to recalculate your numbers. So your numbers will change over time. The important thing to remember is always eat above your BMR, always eat at TDEE -15% cut, no lower is advised, make sure you calculate your activity correctly, don't underestimate it!
  • hey divediva2 thanks for the reply. When i do the shred program i will be doing it daily except for 1 day rest. That comes up to be about 2.5 hrs/week and puts me back on light activity level. so during that time i would eat at my cut for light activity level right?
