not feeling hungry without over eating

I've been vegan for years, and have been incorporating raw food meals into my diet for a while. But I just started following a 100% raw diet this week and am finding that while I feel great, and am enjoying the food, I am going WAY over my calorie limit! Is this common? Any tips? I've come so far in reaching my weight goal - I don't want to blow it because I am doing this all wrong!
