Hey guys, so I've been itching to get one of these for literally about a year. There are so many options out there, anyone have tips for picking one from the mix? I was looking at the fitbit also, not sure if that would be good for kcal budgeting. Lower cost options preferred, still catching up from a month of time off work. Any help is appreciated!

I have a polar F9. I love it and it works great. It's 4 years old and I haven't had any issues other than needing new batteries ;)

The polar brand is the most popular among here. I've heard tons of great reviews about it but it's usually found for at least $100. I have a New Balance one for $70 or $80, don't recall exactly and it's worked just fine. I love it!

Polar`s usually rank pretty high. You can get polar FT1 for around 40$ but for average use Polar fT4 is recommended. It goes for about $60.

EDIT: found the website. This website has really good price for HRM.
